UCI snub US and France for 2013 Downhill World Cup

The UCI have released next year’s Downhill World Cup dates and the big news is that there’s no stop in the US or France. There could, however, be one in China if a test event in September proves a success.

There’s no early round in South Africa because Pietermaritzburg is hosting the World Champs. Instead, the series kicks off in Fort William. Old favourites Willingen, Vallnord and Leogang are back on the World Cup map, joining Val di Sole, Mont-Sainte-Anne and Hafjell, which hosts its debut round this year.
