Video: Mountain of Hell 2012 at Crankworx Les 2 Alpes

Ice, snow, jagged rocks and 700 racers battling to be first down the hill – Mountain of Hell is aptly named. Dan Atherton was on course for his first major enduro downhill win yesterday until a bunch of Euros powered past him on the final climb.

In the end it was a French double, with Jerome Clementz taking the men’s title in 32:49.815, and Anne-Caro Chausson winning the women’s race. It was a fitting end to a fantastic week of racing and slopestyle action at Crankworx Les 2 Alpes. Roll on next year’s event, and Crankworx Whistler on 10-19 August.
