Video: Rocky ridgeline trail with sheer drops either side – on an XC bike

Narrow bar, Ergon grips, Lycra shorts, GPS – surely this is a vid for legshavingwannaberoadies.com, not ChopMTB? That’s what we thought until we skipped to 1:20 and saw the sketchy ridgeline trail Jeff Kerkove threads his way along, with a brown-trouser drop to the left and treacherous scree slope to the right. A trail doesn’t need jumps and drops to be extreme.
