Video: Manon Carpenter rides BMX, dirt jumps, pump track, skatepark and XC!

Manon Carpenter was on fire at the start of the year, storming to second place at World Cup #1 in Pietermaritzburg. A broken collarbone at round 2 put the junior world champ out of the running but she’ll be back for next month’s Worlds, gunning for gold.

So, how did she get so fast? In this vid the 19-year-old Madison-Saracen rider reveals the secret to her success – skills training at the BMX track, dirt jumps, pump track and skatepark, plus XC loops to boost fitness. Hell, the girl can even backflip! (Into a foampit, but still impressive.)
