Red Bull Rampage 2012: The bikes

Darren Berrecloth: Specialized Status

Specialized-sponsored riders have a choice of downhill bikes for Rampage: the top-end Demo or the Status, aimed at privateer racers. Darren Berrecloth has opted for the latter, due to its shorter rear end, higher BB and extra 'pop' on the jumps.
