New Afan Forest bike park looks like awesome fun – finally the long fireroad slog is worth it!

The Wall at Afan Forest is one of the UK’s best-known trails, with a descent that’s so good it makes the long fireroad slog to the top seem just about worth it. Well, from Friday there’s no longer going to be any doubt about whether that uphill churn is worth it – that’s when a new bike park opens at the top of the hill.

The builders are promising a range of different graded runs filled with berms and jumps, along with a couple of new sections on The Wall itself, including a downhill trail that can be ridden as a loop so you can session it over and over again.
