Best budget downhill lid of 2013? Take a look at the Fly Racing Default

Fly Racing are better known for their successes in BMX and motocross, but now they’re dipping a toe into the world of mountain biking. The Default full-face is designed to offer the weight of a carbon helmet at the price of a composite lid, which is great for those starting out in downhill and freeride.

It’s got 21 vents to keep you cool, a D-ring closure, and a removable and washable liner. It’s available in a decent range of colours too, and is CSPC certifed.
